Od tada je Zadar jedan od najva\u017enijih gradova na isto\u010dnom Jadranu i nezaobilazna destinacija pustolova, pjesnika i pisaca. Njegove ulice, trgovi, riva, crkve i spomeni\u010dka ba\u0161tina otkrivaju tu drevnost na svakom koraku, dok su moderne instalacije vizija suvremenosti i inspiracija za nove putnike. Prije tri tisu\u0107e godina postavljeni su temelji i avantura je tada ve\u0107 bila po\u010dela.<\/p>\n<p>Od 1991. godine Zadar je u sastavu Republike Hrvatske koja je stvorena u Domovinskom ratu i procesu razdru\u017eivanja s Jugoslavijom. Zadar tada ponovno postaje centar regije koja nosi ime Zadarska \u017eupanija, a tijekom 30-godi\u0161njeg perioda grad se usmjerio na podizanje nove komunalne infrastrukture, izgradnju velike putni\u010dko-teretne luke u Ga\u017eenici u kojoj se sidre kruzeri, stvaranje Sveu\u010dili\u0161ta u Zadru, kao i prema industriji turizma. Zadar je tako\u0111er spojen s autocestom prema Zagrebu, a kako ima i zra\u010dnu luku, prakti\u010dki je morem, cestom i zrakom povezan s cijelom Europom i svijetom.
